The Velvet Lounge, which first opened in 1968, is located on the second floor of Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge. 

Open weekends at 7PM* and during special occasions, the Velvet Lounge offers a place for small groups and couples to enjoy Bryant’s. 

This swanky lounge has velvet walls, comfortable captain’s chairs and all the same delicious drinks found at the downstairs Bryant’s lounge.  The music is a bit more energetic and the seats are movable to accommodate small groups and couples, making this the perfect place to spend a Friday or Saturday night. 

The Velvet Lounge is also available for private rental during our off season and on weeknights.  It is the perfect space for your Holiday Party, Bachelorette Party, Birthday Party, or any get together that requires a medium size room.  Our rates for private parties are reasonable- just a minimum tab amount plus a 20% service charge.  The minimum tab changes by day, so please email us or call for the current minimum.  Please keep in mind that the minimum tab and gratuity requirements are ONLY applicable if you want a private room. 

While we don’t serve food, we would be happy to work with your caterer or suggest some excellent local restaurants.
